What you will need
To access Telehealth counselling services you require a device such as smartphone, laptop, iPad, or computer with a camera (webcam) and microphone and speaker. You also require a reliable broadband internet connection.
It is advisable that you find a quiet and private space. This could be within your home or office, or parked car. Some people prefer to use headphones for audio quality and privacy.
Prior to your appointment, your psychologist will email you a link which allows you to connect by videoconferencing.
The associated costs of the videoconferencing software and telephone call to you are paid for by your psychologist. All you pay is the actual session fee.
